My 3 year old

We were pulling weeds out today because I want to get some mulch to put in the bed. It looks pathetic because I didn't put anything in there last year. So I have been working a little hear and there. Mowed yesterday, weed eated today and now my arm is trembling!!! It is funny but so here is Aydan and me pulling weeds out, Aydan pulls up one and throws it in my direction. Yep, I was covered dirt, in my shirt places I didn't want it to be!!!

So I have a few songs on here that I listen to repeatedly and one of them is Hold on that Anna, Casey and April sing at church. Aydan knows the chorus and sings it and I love it!!! He repeats the same line, I need to get it videoed!!

Youth Camp

I need to start packing but have no desire whatsoever!! I am pooped after the mowing that we did. Aydan is in the bathroom hollering for me to give him a bath! I love that kid. Tonight we mowed grass with Stephen and got a lot done. Stephen and I pushed mowed!! Lesson learnt!! But I wanted to help out my parents. Got in late so Aydan and I just ate a bowl of cereal! Mariano would have died if I had served that to him. Aydan was filthy so I just let him eat in his underwear and he thought he was in heaven!!!

A BOOGIE

The other night, Aydan was sitting on my lap, I was sitting on the couch talking to Mariano. Diego was on. As Mariano and I were talking, I noticed Aydan picking at his face. He was using hand to apparently dig though I did not know that at the time. Then his hand dropped a little south towards his mouth, then he lowered his hand all together. I am just watching and he begins to munch on something. Mariano is on speaker phone. I asked Aydan what he was eating and he turned to me and said "A boogie." Mariano starts laughing his head off off because he understood him. Aydan then proceeds to stick his tongue out to show me and is really proud of himself. There at the tip of this tongue was a boogie!!! Talk about gross, I about dropped him out of my lap because it was so nasty. He then got a Kleenex and put the boogie on that and then threw it away. All the while, Mariano laughing on the phone. Glad that he got the laugh!! Which I do laugh about it now but it was close to hurling when I saw what I saw...

That I believe was on Sunday night. Tuesday night, we are at Arby's. Mom and Dad was in the hospital and I offered to bring them supper. Mom chose Arby's, which by the way has the #1 Roast Beef sandwich ever. They now have a $ menu but I didn't pay any attention to that this time. We get our food, sit down at the table and Aydan has to go pee pee. Perfect timing by the way. So I don't want someone throwing our food away, so I leave our jackets. We both use the bathroom, wash our hands and go back to the table. We are almost finish eating when Aydan says that he now has to go poop. Perfect timing..here we go again to the bathroom. People might have thought that we had issues. Aydan is pooping and he is always curious about if he pooped a big one or a little one. As he is straining here, he is telling me that it is a big one!! He takes pride in the size of his dump! After he is threw, I wipe his bottom and didn't see anything. I am thinking that it is a phantom poop and it has slid on down the hole where we can't see it. Aydan gets up and there lays the biggest you know what I have ever seen!!! So big, I take a picture of it on my camera because I just can't believe this. He had to have cleaned out his whole entire intestines. I mean, how long could his be at this stage??? So I go to flush and guess what, it doesn't budge!!! We flush again, no movement, and again and again and so many that I don't know how many times. It was like his poop had suction cups on the bottom. So how do you explain this to your toddler about flushing your poop down the toilet?? So I am sorry for who had to get it down but I did leave it.

I text my brother Scott because I thought he would get a big kick of it and ask him what he would do in that situation. He didn't answer the question but was in unbelief shock at the size of the you know what!!!!

So it has a been a month!!

Lots of things to do. First apologize that it has been over a month that I have blogged. I have gotten on facebook now and I love it so my blogging has gotten put to the back burner.
They are interviewing people here at work for another person in our department. I don't have too many warm fuzzies about it because no one has specifically said what they would be working on however they did tell everyone that what we did right now would not change, okay!
Looking forward to my trip to Guatemala next week! Tomorrow I will be Christmas shopping for Mariano! Probably on Friday start packing so that I won't use any of the clothes that I want to take with me. We do have a few days planned to go to Tikal which is in the jungle part of Guatemala and I have wanted to go there ever since Mariano told me about it. Look it up it looks sweet but lets just hope we find a cheap motel!!!
Got to get ready for Sunday School outing this Saturday. I shouldn't have planned it this weekend but we shall see. It looks to be a little warm so we might do something outside and then again we might do the inside thing if it gets cold like we did last year. I think the kids had a good time with it!

The weekend

went better than I thought it would. I thought that I would be one big emotional nut case but the Lord help me through it. Mariano isn't home but God has a reason and I am trying to look at my days now as not another day without Mariano but another day closer to him coming home!!! Someone mentioned about me taking another trip and I was like not until I get some bills paid off. It stinks because my credit card would have been paid off if it hadn't of been for the insurance ordeal with my root canal which they still do not want to pay. It was mid June since I last saw Mariano. Almost four months. So Lord knows what we need to do and we will see about taking another trip. I do have some vacation time to burn.

All day meeting was good! Had a good spirit there and great / awesome to be around God's people. My brothers and sisters!!! I am thankful that the local doctor is willing to help out in Haiti!!! I thought about what a big tax right off that would be for him so he isn't giving up too much but I am thankful because that just isn't Haitians that are hurting that is our brothers and sisters. I will never forget the time when I was meeting my parents for breakfast like a year ago and Aydan was crying in the back seat because he was hungry. And I began to think of the people there that have to look at their kids every day and see that hungry face and that hunger cry! It was so tare me up to be a parent and not be able to give my children the adequate food that they need daily. It reminds me of the song and I had thought about singing it this weekend but didn't so maybe next time.

It is below:

Oh I've had bad days and I've had hills to climb
I've had sad days and sometimes a weary mind
But when I look about and think these things all out
God has been good to me, I can't complain

God has been good to me
He's been so good to me
He's been a real friend to me - I can't complain
His truth and righteousness has made my life so blessed
God has been good to me, I can't complain

Sometimes the clouds hang low and I'd like to see them go
I ask the question Lord why so much pain
Then the answer came to me, I'm watching over thee
I'll just say thank you Lord - I can't complain
