Prince Charming
I read TV's blog, don't know what day it fell on. But I just couldn't help but realize how true it was. Mariano who I will refer to as 'M' simply because it is less typing, was such a romantic when we were dating, and while we lived together. For instance, when I worked at Winn-Dixie, he would always call and see what I wanted to eat for supper and what time I would be taking my break. He would always bring me supper or whatever I wanted and spend time together on my break, 30 minutes. I do good to get a good quality coversation for 10 minutes. Even before Aydan was born. Never cared for flowers, actually despise them. Get me something that I can hold on to for a year or two...i.e. clothes!?!?! I still by just about the same amount of clothes as I did before in the apartment. Just because I still work otherwise I might get on at Easter and at Christmas. M used to give me cards like every week, they actually started getting on my nerves because I knew to expect them all the time. For Valentines we gave each other "Happy Valentines Baby" I think that is hilarious. I ended up buying me an outfit which I wore last Sunday. It is my 'cute' outfit. But anyways for the ones who aren't married, romance after 4-5 years of marriage is 'old school,' a think of the past...the once days were you snuggled in bed for an hour, kissed each other have now turned into a pop kiss good night turn over to your side of the bed and see ya in the morning. So as to TV's blog, dating before marriage is all a fairytale on both ends. Eventually the Prince Charming goes back to being a frog and the Princess decked in beauties becomes some southern redneck maid...am I out in left field by myself? M has turned into the frog but he still likes to wear his crown....I STILL LOVE HIM THOUGH!?!?!

ROFL! Pop kiss good night roll over and see you in the morning!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA....Have you been spying on our house or something???? ROFL!!! I'm lucky though, KC is still romantic, which is great, but neither one of us is the sappy loveydovey things we used to be....*GRIN* Frog and southern redneck cracked me up, too!!! No you're not alone. However, ours isn't so much that we don't want to be, its just that with the kids, it's crazy and we're too exhausted to be romantic!!! HAHAHA! Funny!
Hmmmm... no comment from me concerning romance after 4-5 years of marriage, but I will say that dating is no longer what it used to be. In this "hanging out" culture here in American the guy practically has it made (at least from my perspective). The days of trying to win a girl's love have changed to just wanting some attention and if you don't wanna give it them attention, well then someone else does. And that's all I have to say about that from my jaded perspective for now....
I can't really say much to this post, seeing as how I'm single and all *grin*, but your outfit is really cute!! *LOL*
That is sooo funny! I know what you mean but personally think that romance shouldn't end with marriage. Alot of times it does. But it shouldn't. After all, I pop kiss my daddy and have slept with Morgan. Know what I mean? Romantic love is part of what makes your companion more than just a friend. It just takes work to attain and energy is something we with young children lack! Right?
BTW- I'm so glad you're blogging again. That's cool!
