Two things have amazed me today. The first one being Aydan who learns or does something new everyday. Today he stayed at Amanda's house today. Usually she takes Carter to the Bee-Bee bus. Aydan stays with her while Carter is gone. Usually I take lunch break and go see Aydan and eat lunch. So today, she texts me and told me that Aydan was asleep at 12:00. So I texts back saying to let me know when he wakes up and I will be there. So I went ahead and ate and was working. Finally she texts back @ 1:40 and says that he is still asleep. So I just told her that I wouldn't be coming today that I would see him when I got off from work. Well when I got there so informed me that he got up @2:00. So I asked how long did he sleep. She said No Wendy, he didn't get up until 2:00, he never took a nap!!! The funny thing is, Aydan didn't go to bed until 11:30. So on the way home from Bible study, he falls asleep again. So I am amazed that he is tired but I am starting to worry. It is 10:00, he woke up when we got home but he is tired so I hope everything is okay.
So the second thing...didn't get much out of Bible Study because Aydan was being trifling but that is part of being a 2 year old. But what I did get out, I will be feasting on for awhile. In Matthew 24Th chapter. Jesus is standing on Solomon's temple and he is telling the people that the "Earthly Temple" would not stand and that in the future when the "Seven Years of Trial and Tribulation", that the Christian's should flee to the mountains for protection. Where do we flee to today?? Mount Zion!!! Well there was ones that fled to the mountain and Jesus told them that they would safe!! Well the king and I forget his name knew that there was people in the mountain, so that is where he started to head. Could you imagine looking down in the valley and seeing the army coming. I know the Doubting wheels would start turning in my head. And I know those people starting praying and I imagine that when they were through praying, they looked up and saw that the army had turned around. Why did the army turn around? Because the King heard that there was a battle at his camp. That just astonished me so much tonight!!! Just another time that God had a promise and it was kept and God's people were safe. A type and shadow of today, if we stay in God's Mountain, Mount Zion, then we will be safe thru it all!!! I was so exciting and then I got in the car and the song below was playing and I was just uplifted!!!
So let the storms rage high, the dark clouds rise
They don't worry me, For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God
He walks with me, and naught of earth can harm me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God

Wow...that's a lot of sleeping...I would be worried, but then I have to think he's related to you!!!! HAH. I'm teasing. I hope he's okay, though and that he's not coming down with something. I love that song, too!
Sorry about his looong nap . It's about two hours more than he usually sleeps in a day here . I hope he isn't getting sick either .
Carter had some pain in his ear tonight . Not sure if it's from has tubes or the start of an infection . Thank God for helping him feel better after we had prayer !
Bro Preston is a great teacher and personal friend. When it comes to being a Christian, he is the real thing. He tells me about the Mondaynight Bible studies and they sound interesting. Saints get so much more out of teaching then they do preaching.
