Updates...

Wow, I can't believe that it has almost been a month since I have posted. But I thought I would just update a few folks on things happening....first, my computer crashed! Don't know for sure but when all you get is a black screen, I would call that crashed! Luckily, out IT here at work will help out with employees with their computers for free! So I can save some money because I am all about that!! My hubby and I have been working with a few things that he didn't get taken care of before he left and one of them has came through!! Thank the Lord because I didn't want it to be a totally loss!!!
Mariano is going to start working on his parents roof. They have decided to put tin back on it. I like the clay shingles. They look a little bit better. Still waiting for word from Mariano. I sent him a small package. Well let me tell you the story. I called one of his friends and told them that I wanted to send Mariano something and that when they guy comes to pick up packages and take them back to Guatemala. She was supposed to call me when the guy came in because he stays for two weeks and then leaves. I was thinking that 2 weeks would give me enough time to get a small package together. So one Friday morning I get a call from her and she says the guys is leaving on Saturday @ 2 o'clock. I had nothing prepared. So I developed some small pictures and sent them to Mariano. They were only pictures of Aydan, I haven't said anything to Mariano but there are some small changes that I have made that I want to see if Mariano picks out when he gets to see me again. So the pictures were of Aydan doing little toddler things around the house that he didn't do when Mariano was here. So last night we are praying, Aydan repeats what I say, so Aydan was praying and when we got finished praying, Aydan said Amen, I said Amen and Mariano never did say anything. So Aydan starts hollering in the phone, "Men, Daddy Men..." and Mariano says Amen but he was crying. So I am like everything was fine so what went wrong. Instead of praying with us!!! He was opening the package that was delivered and was looking through the pictures. So I started crying and all that but you know my mind goes back to the song The potter knows the clay:

The potter knows the clay
How much pressure it can take
How many times around the wheel
Til they're submissive to his will
He's planned a beautiful design
But it will take some fire and time
It's gonna be okay
Cause the potter knows the clay

So God just in case you aren't aware, I am tired of going around the wheel!!! Just kidding, we are more than halfway around there. God gave me a promise and I am sticking it to him!

So this weekend on to Tennessee. I wasn't going at all, just going to stick around the house but then I got summoned. So we will see how that turns out!!! Just pray for me!

Aydan went to his first dentist check up. I have dental insurance so lets get them for their money's worth while I still have it. He did really good. He cried but only because I told him that he had to lay his head in the dentist's lap. It was kind of weird because Aydan sat facing me on my lap, then the dentist comes up and has his knees against my knees, and Aydan lays down in his lap so that Aydan's mouth is upside down so he can look. Very awkward! But everything was good with Aydan. And I went as well, Aydan stayed with me while I had mine clean so that maybe it wasn't so bad for him. He did well, they let him sit on my belly. At first he didn't want to but then he got curious! So neither one of us will have to go back until another 6 months! Thank the lord.....

Work is okay, my division will be staying here. What is being moved will take place in another country so the Lord moved on that! Thank you God!!!! Cause I really like my job.

Enough said, I will try to be on here when I can. Mom's computer was messed up but last night we got it back to working so maybe I can go out there some. Hope to see you guys tonight!!!

You made me cry! I really admire your strength through this, it shows me that even when the battles hard to keep pressing on. I love you bunches.
