Ready for a 3-day weekend

I am so excited about the Memorial Day weekend. Nothing going on special. I will be going to Sam's sometime to pick up lunch meat, dog food (I wouldn't mind at all if Mariano said I could get rid of the dog!!! could make some money off of her) chicken, some other items that will last me a while. I am proud of myself. I have been really watching eating out during the week. A lot of people eat out at the office and sometimes we go to lunch but I have been crunching down even though it has made the grocery bill go up, but things last longer!!!

Last night after church, we went out Mom and Dad's for awhile. Aydan went into their bedroom and got a Hersey kiss. Aydan came running and was showing me that he had one so I asked him where was mine. He ran into the bedroom and told Dad "mommy" and Dad gave him one. Then he asked one for "Daddy" and that really tore at my heart. He came back in the living room and handed me my piece of candy, at his piece and held Daddy's piece of candy. He wouldn't let no one have the candy or even lay it down. So we go on home so we can call Mariano, (I have to get used to calling him Juan...which he knows that I don't like even if it is his Grandfathers name), so I told Mariano the story and while I am telling the story, Aydan decides to eat the piece of candy!!! Mariano and I just laughed but Mariano cried. We asked Aydan where was Daddy's piece of candy and he said "gone." I thought that was sweet.

Well Thank the Lord I will get to work the scheduled 4 days that the plant has to be off. I know that they are some people in the office that was asked to take off those days but I am thankful that my boss asked me to work...sure I could have taken a few days off but thinking about going to Guatemala, I needed to work! So thank you God for taking care of me once more again!
